Drawing from the feelings within himself, good and bad, Mike gets the inspiration for his work. His influences are a combination of Rock and Roll music, from the 60's through the present, and art movements such as cubism, dada, abstract and surrealism. While being influenced by artists like Dali, Ernst, Picasso, Miro and Klee, Mike has strived to develop his own unique style.

A self taught artist and history buff, Mike has found and continues to find plenty of material to fire his imagination to conceive these wonderfully colorful and sometimes questionable subjects. The images that you will find on these pages are meant to give you a good representation of this imagination.

Mike wants the viewer to find a personal connection with his subjects. Whether its something from the past or present, he hopes for you, the viewer, to find a sense of delight and special meaning.
